The Artist

Hi, I'm Hallie! I'm the face and artist behind the studio. I love creating with art mediums of all types and playing around with colors. Seeing my artwork come to life on products brings me so much joy and I love seeing what other creatives create with my designs. When I'm not creating, I'm busy being the mom of two littles who are my sources of inspiration for everything I do.

What We Do

We create pattern designs that are seamless and ready to use as well as illustrations. You can simply browse, select, purchase then download our designs from our online shop.

Our Art Style

We draw, paint, or illustrate our designs using different forms of art mediums or digitally on an ipad. Then, we scan art into Adobe programs or upload them and vectorize them. From there, we create patterns or other files. Our designs are created with kids in mind, but they also work for anyone who loves color and playfulness.

How do the digital files work?

After purchase, your files will be available to download.

What format are the files?

Almost all of our files are created in Adobe Illustrator, with the exception of some types of artwork being created in Photoshop. Files are 300 dpi, high quality, and ready to use.

What type of license do I need?

All licensing information is explained in detail under each pattern listing description. A commercial license is required if the design will be used on a product that will be sold.

Who owns the copyright after purchase?

Playful Palette Studio owns full copyright to all ready-made designs available for purchase. If you are interested in a custom exclusive design, please get in touch.

Do you offer custom design work?

We do take on a select number of custom projects. Please get in touch for more information.
