4th of July Fruit Jars
These cute little treats are red, white, and blue and perfect for the 4th of July! Not only are they so easy to make, but they are low on sugar too which makes them a great choice for kids!
What you will need:
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Whipping Cream
- Sugar
- Vanilla Extract
- Sprinkles (optional)
Wash the fruit, dry, cut and set aside. Using a hand or stand mixer, whip the whipping cream (1 pint) with 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract. Feel free to adjust amount of whipping cream based on how many treats you are making.
Fill jars with strawberries, a layer of whipped cream, blueberries, then one more layer of whipped cream. Top with sprinkles. I also topped mine with straw tags from the 4th of July printables for a festive touch!
For the straw tag toppers:
Print out straw tags on cardstock. Cut out. Cut a paper straw in half and tape or glue a straw tag to the top of it. Use cute yarn, ribbon, and/or tinsel to decorate!
